Sunny slopes of beautiful hills
surrounding the village in the Raba
river valley, at the gates of the
Őrség park, have been one of the key
wine-producing and fruit-growing
areas in the region since the Middle
ages. Soil and climate conditions are
favourable for growing winter variety
of apples and wine. Other common fruit
trees include pear, prune, cherries,
walnuts and chestnuts.
